About Superpositional

We’re building the memory software teams are missing.

AI has made it easier than ever to write code. Understanding what that code changes, and what it might break, is now the harder problem.

Superpositional gives engineering teams a shared, evolving understanding of their software. It connects code, dependencies, decisions, documentation, and change history so developers and AI agents can work with the full picture, not just the file in front of them. The result is simple: fewer surprises, faster reviews, and better decisions about what ships.

Why we started Superpositional

Modern software systems are too complex for any one person to hold in their head. Knowledge gets scattered across repositories, pull requests, tickets, docs, incidents, and conversations. Senior engineers become bottlenecks. Documentation drifts. AI coding tools start each task without the context your team has spent years building.

We started Superpositional because teams shouldn’t have to choose between moving quickly and understanding the consequences. Your software should remember how it fits together, why decisions were made, and where the team is trying to go. That understanding should be available wherever work happens: while planning a change, writing code, reviewing a pull request, or investigating a problem.

What we believe

Context should compound

Every commit, review, and investigation should make the next decision better. Your team's understanding shouldn't reset between tools, sessions, or people.

AI should work with your system, not around it

AI can generate code quickly. It becomes far more useful when it understands dependencies, conventions, architecture, and previous decisions.

Good judgement needs evidence

Engineering teams don't need more vague warnings. They need clear answers: what does this affect, why does it matter, and what evidence supports the concern?

The best tools meet teams where they work

System understanding should be available in the IDE, pull request, dashboard, and team chat — without forcing people into another disconnected workflow.

What we’re building

Superpositional maintains a live model of your software system: its structure, relationships, changes, documentation, and emerging risks. That shared model helps teams:

We’re not building another tool that forgets everything after each interaction. We’re building system understanding that grows with your team.
